1. Legal Disclaimer
Polemistis Watch Company provides a warranty on all timepieces against manufacturing defects under the terms specified below. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper handling, misuse, or wear and tear that goes beyond normal usage.
This warranty is governed by applicable consumer protection laws and does not limit your statutory rights. The warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Any unauthorized repair or modification voids the warranty.
2. Warranty Coverage
Polemistis Watch Company undertakes to repair or replace, free of charge, any part of the watch that fails due to a verified manufacturing defect within the warranty period. This warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase and covers:v
Movement: Defects in the internal mechanism or movement that result from manufacturing faults.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
3.1 Damage to the watch case, crystal, strap, bracelet, box, manual, or other accessories that arises from:
- Accidents or mishandling
- Incorrect or abusive use, including knocks, crushing, or scratching
- Water damage (even for water-resistant watches), except when proven to be the result of a manufacturing defect
- Crown damage: Including broken, bent, disconnected, or snapped-off crowns or crown stems
- Crystal damage: Scratches, chips, or cracks to the watch crystal
3.2 Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications
Any repair, modification, or service performed by non-authorized personnel will void the warranty.
3.3 Water Damage
Watches that suffer from water damage, even if labeled as water-resistant, will not be covered under warranty unless a manufacturing defect is found during inspection.
4. Determining Manufacturing Defects
All claims of manufacturing defects will be determined upon inspection by Polemistis Watch Company's authorized personnel or agents. We employ industry-standard "dry" and "wet" testing procedures to determine whether the defect is due to a fault in materials or craftsmanship.
- Watches with water damage, but without any discovered manufacturing defect, will not be covered by warranty.
- Crystal damage is not considered a manufacturing defect unless it is directly related to a failure in assembly or materials.
5. Batteries
Any use of non-authorized batteries, or any damage arising from their use, is not covered by this warranty. Please ensure you only use authorized batteries to avoid potential damage to your timepiece.
6. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at [watches@polemistiswatches.com] or [(509) 528-0967] to initiate a warranty claim. Please include your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
- Inspection: We will provide instructions on how to send the watch to an authorized service center for inspection.
- Decision: After inspection, we will determine if the defect is covered under warranty. If covered, we will repair or replace the defective part at no cost. If not covered, we will offer a repair at a reasonable charge.
7. Limitations
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects. It does not cover routine servicing, wear and tear, or cosmetic imperfections that arise from normal usage. Polemistis Watch Company reserves the right to modify the warranty terms without prior notice.
